Maroon 5 is sired by the great Jose’ Jose’ and out of top producing mare Ritz’s Porcelain Doll(He’s Puttin’ On the Ritz). Maroon 5 was bred and raised by Ronnie Logsdon of Munfordville, Kentucky. His dam Ritz’s Porcelain Doll also produced many time World Champion and Full sister to Maroon 5, Jose’s Ritzy Doll. He also comes from the same mare line that produced Multi World Grand Champion She’s Limitless. Many successful show horses come from this mare line.
As a two-year-old Maroon 5 was under the direction of trainer Bobby Hugh, and from that tremendous beginning Maroon 5 had a successful Two Year Old year and finished with 2 top 3 finishes in the Amateur Two-Year-Old division at the 2015 Celebration. Maroon 5 caught the eye of Dr. Jim and Lisa Baum prior to the 2016 Celebration and a purchase agreement was made and Maroon 5 made his debut with Jim Baum in the irons winning both the Amateur Three-Year-Old Stallions and the Amateur Three-Year-Old Championship at the 2016 Celebration.

From there forward Maroon 5 has won 6 World Championships and 4 World Grand Championships with the most recent World Championship in 2023. Now available to the public for breeding, we expect Maroon 5 to produce the caliber of offspring to keep him in high demand as a stallion.
