We are very excited to add Grateful Red to our stellar line-up of stallions at Sugar Creek. A son of TWHBEA Hall of Fame inductee Gen’s Black Gin, his dam is multi–World Champion producer Titleist’s Grey Lady. Bred and raised by Jerri Sue Arrighi Grateful Red is a combination of all the best attributes of Gen’s Black Gin and The Titleist, two of the greatest sires we have the honor to represent.

Grateful Red is out of the same dam as multi–World Champion Charlie Sherman. If you have ever seen his dam take 4 steps, you’ll know why we feel he would be a great sire in his own right. She has always been in the discussion of the best back-ends on a broodmare we have ever seen.

A Reserve World Champion at Two and World and World Grand Champion at Three, he has shown that early success that we like to see in potential sires. An unfortunate injury has him temporarily on show ring hiatus. We now have the opportunity to begin the breeding career of a future great sire!

Our breeders know when we are excited about a stallion. We look forward to your inquiries about breeding to Grateful Red!
