From a phenomenal Tennessee Walking Horse family, Our Commander N Chief looks to have the pedigree that many breeders will love. Offered to the public for the first time this beautiful black stallion could become a new favorite.

Sired by the legendary Jose’ Jose’, Chief comes from a mare line that also is well fitted with the legendary tag. His dam Jackie O’s My Sister (originally named Sterling Silver Lady) was the 2000 World Champion Weanling Filly. She was sold during that week at the Celebration and garnered one of the highest purchase prices ever for a weanling filly. She went on to have a wonderful show career including becoming the 2002 TWHBEA National Futurity Two Year Old Mare Champion. (His dam is pictured below as a weanling and under saddle.)

His 2nd dam the great Count’s Silver Lining has produced in addition to his dam a line-up of greats which include the great WGC JFK (pictured below), WGC My Jackie O (pictured below), WC and Res. WGC RFK and International Champion Santana’s Rockette. He is the product of years of breeding prowess of TWHBEA Master Breeder Ray Beech.

Another aspect we are very excited about is offering a son of Jose’ Jose’ out of a Generator’s Silver Dollar mare. This crossing of two great bloodlines has produced many show ring greats. This stallion has the length of leg and neck of a Jose’ Jose’ but he has the powerful hip of the great Generator’s Silver Dollar. According to our breeding manager David Williams, ” Our Commander N Chief was one of the most perfect examples of a yearling I’ve seen. We’ve had breeders ask for a choice of the Jose’ Jose’ bloodline that many small breeders can easily afford, and I believe Our Commander N Chief can fill that request.

Not being shown until he was four due to different circumstances that didn’t reflect on his talent, he was shown sporadically with his greatest showring appearances occurred as a four year old with highlights being a Top 5 finish at the Celebration and winning the prestigious Wartrace Horse Show.
