The common denominator of great breeding stallions is their success in the show ring at the ages of 2,3 and 4. We have followed this trend of the great producers for years. Playing Gin fits this most important criteria.

Playing Gin was World Champion Two-Year-Old Stallion in 2017 and was not shown back in the Two-Year-Old Stake. He was the World Champion Three-Year-Old Stallion and Reserve World Grand Champion Three-Year-Old in 2018. In 2019 moving into the amateur rider ranks Playing Gin became the World Champion in the Owner-Amateur on Four-Year-Old Stallions class. Playing Gin has been successful with 6 different trainers and shown by 7 riders. His consistency is unmatched.

Playing Gin and Rico Bravo on their victory pass becoming World Champion Two-Year-Old Stallion in 2017.

Playing Gin and Chris Helton winning the Three-Year-Old Stallions World Championship before going on to become Reserve World Grand Champion Three-Year-Old.

Lorraine Rosbury taking the reins of her Playing Gin in his Four-Year-Old year becoming World Champion Amateur Riders on Four-Year-Old Stallions.

Sired by Hall of Fame sire Gen’s Black Gin and out of the Jose’ Jose’ daughter I’m Miss Universe, Playing Gin comes from a World Champion producing family. His 2nd dam the great producer Bo-Mar’s Pride of Jubilee, in addition to producing I’m Miss Universe, is also the dam of 2009 World Grand Champion Tennessee Walking Horse Watch It Now, many time World Champion Sky Walk, World Champion Another Skywalk, and National Futurity Champion The Midnight Sky. Also coming from this mare line are World Champion The Blackstone, World Champion Roethlisberger, National Futurity Champion I’m Charlie Hustle, and World Champion Huckleberry Gin. In addition, Playing Gin has two successful full brothers in John Gruden and Playin Poker.

He has the vital successful show record as a young horse, a pedigree steeped in World Champion production and with a perfect frame of 16 hands and impeccable conformation he has all the ingredients that make a sire.
